Parts Warranty

New Parts Warranty Policy

DV Diesel LLC. (DVD) forwards the following contract warranty from the relevant manufacturer for any and all new products being sold by DVD.  Specifically, according to the manufacturer’s written warranty, the products listed below are free from defects in material or workmanship in accordance with the following:

  • The Standard Warranty provided by the manufacturer, as is typically provided with the product being sold herein and/or available at the manufacturer’s website. In this context, the purchaser of the product from DVD specifically acknowledges that the purchaser shall follow the manufacturer’s warranty protocol. The warranty period commences the day the product is sold to the purchaser.
  • In the case of a warranty claim for a new product sold by DVD, the purchaser hereby agrees that it should look first and exclusively to the manufacturer for any warranty claims. In such circumstances, the purchaser understands DVD has not worked on or alter the product in any way being sold by the manufacturer in these contexts. Accordingly, the purchaser understands that DVD is not the warranting party and it is the manufacturer that should be looked to for the purposes of replacing damaged products, and for all limits of the warranty.
  • The purchaser understands that the products being sold are complex fuel injection systems and turbo-charger systems. They should only be installed by factory certified technicians. Failure to install these systems by such authorized persons hereby voids any warranty provided by either DVD or the manufacturer of said systems.
  • To obtain performance of this warranty, purchasers should contact DVD. A dated purchase receipt, repair order or other written proof that the product is within the warranty period will be required in order to honor the claim.

This warranty is limited to the original purchaser, i.e. is not transferable to subsequent owners of the product. Specifically excluded from this warranty are failures caused by misuse, negligence, modification, abuse, improper application, installation or operation, or failures caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.

  • The purchaser hereby understands that the RETURN POLICY Applicable for all items sold by DVD includes the following:
  1.          a) No returns or cores will be accepted after 15 days of purchase.
  2.         b) No returns on Electrical parts and special orders. Products must be returned in original packaging and in salable condition.

There is a 20% RESTOCKING CHARGE FOR ALL RETURNED PARTS.

  • DVD in no event shall be liable for any consequential damages resulting from a manufacturer’s defective product, including and not limited to towing charges, communication expenses, meals, lodging and other “down time” damages or expenses, such as hotel stays, overtime expenses, cargo damages and all business costs and losses of revenue resulting from a warrantable failure. Under no circumstances shall the purchaser even attempt to look to DVD for recovery of these expenses without first exhausting any remedies they have against the responsible manufacturer.
  1.      All warranty claims must be returned to DV Diesel LLC. for warranty considerations.

  • In certain instances associated with a warranty claim, DVD may have to install certain new products or components. In these circumstances, the purchaser hereby understands that DVD is not guaranteeing these new products or components, and consistent with the New Parts Warranty referenced above, the purchaser shall look exclusively to the manufacturer of said products or components for warranty claims.
